Barrhaven East (Ward 24) is an upcoming city ward in Ottawa. The future ward consists of the neighbourhoods of Longfields, Davidson Heights, Havenlea, Winding Way, Knollsbrook, Chapman Mills, Rideau Glen, Hearts Desire, and Havencourt.
Following a ward boundary review commissioned by the City of Ottawa in 2020, it was decided that as of the upcoming October 24ᵗʰ election Barrhaven (Ward 3) will split into Barrhaven East (Ward 24) and Barrhaven West (Ward 3). This is because of the fruitful growth throughout our Barrhaven community resulting in the creation of our new ward!
